for the false reason that it would be in exchange for civilizing the aboriginal inhabitants
exploiting their lands from their natural resources.
Villages Were Brutally punished when there was resistance or being fled they were slaughtered
If The Rubber They Offered Was Not The Best or did not meet the requisite amount of resource quotas and even when they did
they were still punished, brutally flogged in cases where they where whipped even until death.
In 1896, the town of Bandakea Wijiko was massacred for not being able to meet King Leopold II demands,
Congo State soldiers went in to kill and rape the inhabitants,
of the dead bodies that remained right hands and heads where severed as
the Belgium Soldiers Had To Prove Their Kills.
Famine diseases spread, resulting in millions of deaths.
Villagers Were ensnared in large nets and Drowned.
Kushite woman and children were raped in front of their men.
The acts of genocide knew no bounds, entire villages were “swept clean”
Even cruelties like cannibalism took place, in 1904, a man named nsala did not reach the requisite quota
his five-year-old daughter and wife’s hands and feet were cut off and cannibalized on after they were slaughtered.
25 years of genocide atrocities committed against the Kushite inhabitants in which
Millions of people died.
Yet even unto this day you can still find chocolate ears at the chocolatiers in Belgium….
